Storm events and monthly climate synopses for Flagstaff, Arizona

This site documents precipitation events in Flagstaff and the atmospheric patterns that produced them, using the City of Flagstaff rain-gauge network, nearby SNOTEL sites, the Flagstaff airport record and ERA5 reanalysis.

• Events: one page per rain or snow event, with gauge-network totals and maps of moisture transport, the jet stream and 500-hPa heights.
• Monthly: temperature and precipitation against normal, the month’s events, and the state of climate indices.
• Network: the gauges and SNOTEL sites used here.
• Methods: data sources, definitions and thresholds.
